Only a short distance from where our fly tying class is held there is a stocked trout stream and numerous ponds. A quick drive away are the warmwater fisheries of Chautauqua Lake, Cassadaga Lake, Bear Lake, Lake Eries, and many warmwater rivers. Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Bluegills, Perch, Bullhead, Channel Catfish, Crappies, Carp, Musky and Northern Pike can be in the waters nearby. Fly tying classes are only a short distance from the famed "Steelhead Alley" where each spring, winter, nd fall thousands of steelhead run Chautauqua, Canadaway, and Cattaraugus Creeks.
