ABOUT US

We are a fly tying club located in Sinclairville, NY. Fly tying classes are open to anyone ages 8-100 who want to learn to tie flies. Adults are welcome and we highly encourage parents to tie flies with their kids.  We meet every Monday (September-May) evening and tie flies from 6:00-8:00. All tools and materials are completely FREE! Our club is dedicated to educating everyone about the lifelong sport of fly tying and fly fishing. 

Fly tying classes are not just for kids, adults are welcome too.

Sinclairville, NY is located in Chautauqua county of Western New York.  There are numerous fly fishing oppurtunities nearby. Only a short distance from where our fly tying class is held there is a stocked trout stream and numerous ponds.  A quick drive away are the warmwater fisheries of Chautauqua Lake, Cassadaga Lake, Bear Lake, Lake Eries, and many warmwater rivers.  Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Bluegills, Perch, Bullhead, Channel Catfish, Crappies, Carp, Musky and Northern Pike can be in the waters nearby.   Fly tying classes are only a short distance from the famed "Steelhead Alley" where each spring, winter, nd fall thousands of steelhead run Chautauqua, Canadaway, and Cattaraugus Creeks.
